This is the little gumbo shop with 20 seats where it all began in November of 2010. Pictured below is the very first pot of Gumbo being cooked by Belinda Griffin, the founder.



Ten years and 24 locations later, and over 1 MILLION bowls of gumbo sold, our granddaughter Dakota Griffin and her partner Zack Beeler have taken over the original The Lost Cajun as the new owners. In our wildest dreams we could never have imagined this little gumbo shop would turn into a national restaurant franchise. I am so proud of Dakota and Zacks commitment in keeping the family traditions going and watching the new generation take it to new heights!
