Spicy new restaurant parades into San Antonio this spring

Authentic Cajun food and hospitality comes to San Antonio this spring with the opening of The Lost Cajun.
"We want to bring the heart of Louisiana cooking to the seventh largest city in the nation. We're severely lacking in authentic, great tasting Cajun food and that’s what The Lost Cajun hopes to bring to the Alamo City," says local franchise co-owner Eric Bernal in a release.
Diners can expect to see traditional Cajun fare on the menu, including gumbo, red beans and rice, crawfish étouffée, lobster bisque, and jambalaya. And for dessert? Beignets, of course. An open kitchen design is a nod to Louisiana's gumbo houses, allowing diners to sneak a peek at their meal as it's being prepared.  Look for The Lost Cajun in late February or early March at 5602 W. Hausman Rd., Ste. 102. The Colorado-based franchise is spreading the Cajun love and has its eyes on seven to nine additional San Antonio locations.
