There's more great Cajun food coming to Tarrant County with the expansion of The Lost Cajun, a Louisiana chain that will open its second DFW location in Keller in fall 2018.

The Keller location is at 721 Keller Pkwy., and comes five months after The Lost Cajun made its DFW debut in Mansfield.

The Keller location will be owned and operated by Jason "Jay" and Janice Smith, who loved the restaurant's amazing cuisine and family-friendly spirit.

The Lost Cajun was founded in 2010 by Raymond Griffin, who began franchising in 2013. There are 18 restaurants open and operating in four states.

The chain expects to open up to a half-dozen restaurants throughout northern Fort Worth over the next few years.

Jay says they'll offer an exceptional dining experience that is not just another sandwich shop, pizza parlor, or burger joint.

Take that, sandwich shops, pizza parlors, and burger joints!

"We believe that The Lost Cajun’s culture and atmosphere, friendly staff, and of course great consistent food will make us a popular destination in Keller," Janice says.

The menu features traditional Cajun fare, including seafood gumbo, chicken and sausage gumbo, and even a vegetarian gumbo.

There is also red beans and rice, fried seafood, crawfish etouffee, lobster bisque, jambalaya, and beignets for dessert.

The Lost Cajun boasts a fun hole-in-the-wall decorative theme with wooden tables, unique decorations, and Zydeco music.

An open kitchen harkening back to the wooden counters in Louisiana's gumbo houses allows patrons to watch their food being cooked and hear the courtesy and respect commonly associated with Cajun culture.
