Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Some stories are just too good to be true! This is one that is not only true, but truly inspiring!
Several years ago Michelle and Ryan visited me at the original The Lost Cajun in Frisco, Co. and told me that they wanted to open a Lost Cajun in Pagosa Springs, Co. After discussing the cost and mechanics of opening a store they told me that they would get back to me shortly. After several weeks they came back and said they were ready to go and that they had an angel investor that was going to help them get started.
After several years of successfully running a Lost Cajun in the tiny town of Pagosa Springs and having double digit growth numbers over the previous years, they decided that they wanted to sell their business and live a more simple life.
Enter Amanda Jones and Eddie Tobin. Amanda has been a server at The Lost Cajun in Pagosa Springs from the day that the store opened. Over the years she moved from server to front of the house manager. Eddie had previously worked in The Lost Cajun in Glenwood Springs, but decided that he wanted to live in Pagosa Springs.
These two young folks fell in love with each other as well as The Lost Cajun culture of courtesy and respect. When Michelle and Ryan told them that they were thinking about selling the business, without hesitation Amanda and Eddie said they wanted it!
And this is the amazing part of the story, Michelle and Ryan decided to be angel investors and help this young couple buy their business! How cool is that.
I am confident that Amanda and Eddie will continue the tradition of great customer service, great food, and will continue our culture of courtesy and respect that has made the Lost Cajun in Pagosa Springs the success that it is!
Welcome to the family!
